Cooking with Love Press Release

What is the hottest book whisking away the cookbook market? The answer might surprise you. It’s a new title called “Cooking with Love” The Avella-Feiner Family and Friends Cookbook, compiled with love by Elise Avella Feiner.

The book started as a combination fundraising project and request from the author’s children, nieces and nephews to write down the family recipes so they could be passed down from generation to generation. It became an incredible anthology of one family’s search for their primarily Italian culinary and cultural roots through recipes handed down from their family and friends. This book is a warm and touching collection of recipes, photographs, and quotes to live by. It is filled with 577 pages of love and over 1000 recipes. The book also includes Spanish, Greek, Jewish and other international recipes as well. Among the recipes are: Three Musketeers, a combination of veal, beef and eggplant; Eye of the Tiger, a filet stuffed with lobster tails; your basic Chicken Soup to old favorites like Veal Parmigiana, Matzoh Ball Soup, Flan, Tiramisu, and everything in between, you’ll find in this book.

The most important aspect of this book is that it will support several charities. For every book sold the purchaser can choose from one of the many charities listed at the back of the book. A $5.00 donation will be made to the purchaser’s selected charity. Among the charities are American Diabetes Association, Children’s Miracle Network at Faxton St Luke’s-Healthcare, Central Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, CURE, Make a Wish Foundation of Central New York, Gilda’s Club, Operation Smile, The Caring Community Foundation, Inc, The Carol Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund, Inc, and many others. The author wanted to find a way to give back something to the community for all the blessings in her life, and so the concept of “Chef’s with Heart Whisking up a Better World™” was born.

The author, Elise Feiner has been cooking and entertaining since the age of twelve. Although, she was not trained in a formal culinary school, she earned her culinary degree in the school of life. Among her many jobs, she was a registered nurse, a corporate event planner, and has owned many businesses in the Gift Basket, Balloon Decorating, Stationery and Advertising Specialties industries. She is presently conducting cookbook writing seminars (focusing on family cookbooks), cookbook reviews, and cookbook and recipe development. She is currently working on her second cookbook. She has taught cooking to her family and her friends for years. Elise is a member of International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP) and a graduate of the “Cookbook University.” Elise and her husband Marc, a physician, have four children, Jeffrey, Steven, David, and Lauren and reside in New Hartford, New York. She is currently spearheading Project Cookbook Katrina, to have individuals and businesses underwrite copies of the cookbook to send to New Orleans to replace the family cookbooks destroyed by the hurricane.

Whether you are a novice cook or a cookbook collector, you won’t want to miss out on “Cooking with Love.” The format of the book is an 8 ½ x 11-inch oto-bound book (so it lies flat).
